Origami fans are easy to fold that just need to know the two basic folding methods,mountain folding and valley folding. You may need such a simple fan in hot summer. You can use any paper you can find, such as print paper, newspaper, etc. If you are a origami beginner, I suggest you learn more basic origami folds so that you can complete more complex origami.
Step 1
:Start with your paper white side up.Divide paper into thirds，then fold the right edge to left along the dotted line.
Step 2
: Make a crease,Fold the paper in half by folding the bottom edge to the top edge, then unfold.
Step 3
: Make a crease fold the bottom edge to center point along the dotted line, then unfold.
Step 4
:Make a crease fold the bottom edge up along the dotted line, then unfold.
Step 5
:Fold the bottom edge up along the dotted line.Then turn over
Step 6
:Fold the bottom edge up along the dotted line.Then turn over
Step 7
:Now we simply repeat step5 and step6 over and over until there is no more paper to fold.
Step 8
:Now just need to open up the fan,Make a crease form the bottom to create a handle for the fan.
