This is the most common basic folding method, which requires only two inside reverse folds. It is usually used to fold the mouth and tail of origami animals. The final perspective is shown here so that you can understand its composition more easily. In most origami instructions, folding details will not be shown in such detail as here. So learning it here will make it easier to complete all kinds of origami art.

Step 5:Make a crease again.Then unfold.

Step 6:Make an inside reverse fold on (b) and pull out (a).If you unfold the model, it will be easier to fold it.

The black dotted line (b) will is mountain fold line.

The red dotted line (b) will is valley fold line.
